Traditional support for heartburn and indigestion

• Combines herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine (WHM) for mild inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract
• According to traditional WHM use, this formula may help to
  • Relieve mild digestive disturbances such as dyspepsia, flatulence, bloating and belching
  • Relieve symptoms of indigestion and digestive discomfort
  • Provide symptomatic relief of heartburn
• No added gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds
• No added artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours

HiPep contains the following herbs: Deglycyrrhizinized Licorice, Meadowsweet and Chamomile (flower and flower essential oil). This combination of herbs contains many compounds including flavonoids, sterols, phenolic glycosides and tannins. The essential oil contains α-bisabolol and chamazulene.

Dosage

1 tablet 3 - 5 times daily, or as directed.

Deglycyrrhizinized Licorice root 12:1 extract from Glycyrrhiza glabra root 3.42 g
285 mg
Chamomile flower 6:1 extract from Matricaria recutita flower 600 mg
100 mg
Meadowsweet herd 5:1 extract from Filipendula ulmaria herb 500 mg
100 mg
Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) flower essential oil 5 mg

Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, sodium starch glycolate, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, hypromellose and magnesium stearate.

Cautions

• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
• Contains methyl salicylate (not more than 1 µg per tablet)
• Caution in cases of known sensitivity to plants of the Compositae family
